We sell our cookies and bars by the half-dozen or dozen. Also, we can put together a cookie or bar platter for you, which makes a wonderful party dessert.

We make cupcakes in lots of different flavors and combinations. Choose a cake flavor and choose a frosting flavor–or call us if there is something you would like but don’t see.

We make our cupcakes in quantities of half-dozen. We can also make mini-cupcakes if the occasion warrants. And we can fill cupcakes with vanilla cream if you wish.

All regular size cupcakes are $1.50 each.

We specialize in customizing our layer cakes to our customers’ wishes. The fillings and frostings of any cake can be made lighter or more decadent, and we have sizes for all occasions, from small anniversary celebrations to big birthday parties.

Our smallest cake is a 6-inch three-layer cake, which feeds four to eight people, depending on appetite. Our standard 9-inch cake can be two to four layers according to what you want (more layers is typically more formal). And our 12-inch cake is great for larger gatherings, able to feed up to 40 people pretty nicely. For very large parties, we offer sheet cakes. These are good for 40 – 60 people.

These cakes are versatile. Some people like a slice or square of them for breakfast or for what my father used to call “lunch dessert.” Others will happily accept them for their after-supper sweet. We often refer to them as “snack cakes.”

The 9 x 13 cakes cut into 12 large squares or 15 more normal-sized squares. The small loaf cakes can slice into thin or thick pieces depending on your need; they are about five inches long.

We make all kinds of pies and tarts, using as much seasonal fruit as possible. We make small tarts and mini-pies for two people to share (or one person to enjoy) as well as regular size pies and large tarts.

Our pie and tart crusts are flaky and are made without shortening (that is, only with butter). Our puff pastry is homemade and is made only with butter as well. Our fruits and vegetables come from Maine whenever possible, and as close to Portland as possible.
